Payment & Insurance Information
At ShadowDiver Counseling, we make paying for services as simple and accessible as possible. By offering Zelle, Wise, PNC transfers, and crypto alongside traditional insurance and credit cards, we aim to remove as many financial and geographic barriers as possible. Mental health care should be accessible to everyone, no matter where you live or how you prefer to pay.
Session Rates
Hammer Intensives 2-hour session: $400, 4-hour session: $750, 3 consecutive days at 4 hours each: $2,100
Individual Therapy: $200 per hour
Couples Therapy: $250 per hour
Group Therapy: $60–$100 per hour (varies by group)
Veterans: Free counseling is available for veterans, servicemembers, and their families through the Camaraderie Foundation (eligibility required).
Special Discount: If you are paying out of pocket, you receive a $10 per hour discount when you pay through Zelle, ACH bank transfer, Wise, or any other non-credit-card method. This helps keep care affordable while reducing processing fees.

Important Payment Policies
Payment is due at the time of session.
No-show / Late Cancellation Policy: You are responsible for the full session fee for missed appointments or cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice. Exceptions are made only for true emergencies (threats to life, limb, eyesight, safety of others, or property). Work calls, babysitter issues, or last-minute schedule changes do not qualify. We invest in reminder software and value your time as much as ours—if a slot opens because of a no-show, another client who truly needs it misses out.
First Responders, Military, and On-Call Professionals: We understand the nature of your work. We can create a custom no-show plan so genuine work-related crises are not charged. Just let us know your situation when you schedule.
