Therapy that sees You. Honors You. Works for You.

At Shadow Diver Counseling, I specialize in working with people who live outside the box, those who carry invisible burdens, navigate unique pressures, or live lives most therapists can’t understand. You deserve therapy that doesn’t judge, doesn’t patronise, and doesn’t try to turn you into someone you’re not. Each path is different, but the need for safety, clarity, and trust is universal.

Here are some of the people I love to work with.

Expats, Nomads, Wanderers

“A caged bird is fed. It has a beautiful home. Yet all it wants to do is use its wings.”

—Pierre XO

Traditional therapy often doesn’t fit when you're living abroad full-time, traveling constantly for work, snowbirding, or shifting between countries every few months. But what if your therapist could actually keep up, across borders, time zones, and bad Wi-Fi

This space is built for people who live and explore unconventionally; chasing freedom, stretching across cultures, and learning to belong to themselves along the way. I work with anyone craving internal stability while living externally in motion. This includes digital nomads, expats, those in long-distance relationships, travelers, snowbirds, and remote workers.

This Work Can Help You if you’re:

  • Always in motion, but never feeling truly grounded

  • Like you don’t fully belong anywhere, not even “back home”

  • Burned out from adjusting to new cultures, relationships, and routines

  • Torn between your love for freedom and your need for connection

Where I Can See You:

  • Licensed for online therapy in Florida, Pennsylvania, and New York; perfect for U.S.-based travelers and snowbirds

  • Able to provide therapy to clients located in countries that do not restrict foreign counseling, including Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Colombia, and others

  • Sessions are held via secure telehealth, so you can be in session from a hotel room, a coworking space, your apartment in Kyoto, or wherever you are.

  • If your internet connection is unreliable, I offer asynchronous counseling options so you can still receive support, even without a live video session.

You don’t have to sacrifice one side of yourself for the other. As a travelling therapist and someone who understands the nomadic heart, I can help you find internal grounding without giving up your freedom. Your story deserves a home. Let’s build one, wherever you are.

Adult Industry Professionals

You deserve a therapist who gets it, without flinching. If you work in the adult entertainment industry, whether as a cam model, camera operator, actor, producer, stripper, content creator, or anything in between; you’ve probably dealt with shame, misunderstanding, or straight-up rejection from people who are supposed to be helping you.

At Shadow Diver you are seen, respected, and supported without conditions. You don’t need to justify your job.

This Is a Space for:

  • Navigating the emotional and psychological impact of sex work

  • Processing burnout, performance pressure, and social stigma

  • Claiming your personal identity

  • Strengthening boundaries, expectations, and consequences with clients, fans, family, and partners

  • Talking freely about money, desire, power, image without censorship

Why Work With Me?

I’ve worked with clients who told me their last therapist seemed more interested in the details of their sex work than they were, asking invasive questions, fixating on explicit content, or treating them like a curiosity. That’s voyeurism dressed up as care.

I’m not here to fix you, convince you to change your occupation, or get off on your story. You set the tone here. We go at your pace, and we talk about what actually matters to you.

This Work Can Help You:

  • Feel safer in your body, your work, and your relationships

  • Let go of internalized shame and claim your self-worth

  • Build an intentional life that honors who you really are

Veterans & First Responders

Whether you're a servicemember, veteran, paramedic, firefighter, corrections, or law enforcement, you’ve been trained to keep going, stay sharp, and put everyone else first. But when the adrenaline fades, when the uniform’s off, and you're alone with your thoughts that’s when the weight hits hardest.

Before I ever heard the words mental health counseling, I was a US Army soldier and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Honorably discharged in 2013. I know the culture, the humor, the stupidity in the chain of command, the silence, and the scars that come after. This isn’t just clinical work, it’s personal for me.

You may be dealing with:

  • Chronic stress, hypervigilance, or jumpiness you can’t shake

  • Numbness, flatness, or outbursts you can’t explain

  • Guilt for things you’ve seen, done, or couldn’t stop

  • Trouble sleeping, nightmares, or always needing to “clear the room”

  • Feeling like you don’t belong, not in your family, not in civilian life, not anywhere

  • A constant belief that “if it doesn’t hurt, it doesn’t count”

I’ve worked with many who've carried the silent load. You don’t have to earn support here. You don’t have to explain the culture, the dark humor, or why you can’t cry at funerals. You’ve carried enough alone. You don’t need to anymore.

Your privacy is sacred. Your story stays yours.

If your privacy is a concern, especially due to public visibility, career risk, or personal relationships, know that I take it seriously. You have full control over what you disclose, when you disclose it, and how deep we go. Your identity and story are not up for grabs. Ever.

When you pay out of pocket, your information stays out of insurance databases, diagnostic records, and third-party systems. No diagnosis is added to your permanent health records. No paper trail for future employers, licensing boards, or institutions to access. Just you and me working together in a confidential space.

Therapy is held via secure telehealth from anywhere I’m licensed (currently Florida, Pennsylvania, and New York) or in any countries that do not restrict counseling.
